Bio:

JAICKO [pronounced Jay-co], born and raised in Barbados, is an extremely talented artist whose music speaks for itself with its remarkable fusion of Caribbean, POP and R&B sounds. Jaicko was born into a family of music with his father, Philip Forrester, being a well-known musician in Barbados and the Caribbean. Philip recognized Jaicko’s amazing talent and by the tender age of nine Jaicko was already developing his musical skills, singing and recording in studios around the Caribbean and the USA.
In 2009 Jaicko was signed to Capitol Records where he began to work on his album “Can I” and the release of his two singles “Oh Yeah” ft. Snoop Dogg and “Fast Forward”. Soon after Jaicko traveled the United States and Canada as he toured with Sean Kingston and graced the stages around the world including Japan and Trinidad with several other artists such as New Boys, B.O.B, Train, Iyaz, Kat Deluna, Neyo and Livvi Franc.  Jaicko achieved several Barbados Music Awards and nominations where he was up against mega Superstars such as Rihanna and Shontelle.
Jaicko’s ambitious and determined character pushes him to be proactive and very hands-on with his career from anything to do with his songwriting to the production of all of his music, branding and any creative decisions. Not only is Jaicko known for his vocal talent but he is also recognized for his producing and song-writing skills. Jaicko has been working continuously to build his musical skills and his song-writing catalog as he works alongside producers and song-writers such as The Stereotypes, Jim Jonsin, Mo Chedda, J.N.I.C.E, Ant Maestro, August Rigo, Rico Love, Stargate, Detail and DJ Camper.
